Neuropy Comfort Balm | Hemp & St John's Wort Balm for Hands & Feet
Description
Gentle, hemp-led natural balm for the everyday side of your nerve care routine. A daily favourite among customers managing peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, post-chemotherapy nerve discomfort, sciatica, and the tingling, burning, or aching sensations many people experience in their feet, hands, and limbs — handcrafted in Essex with hemp seed oil, St John's Wort, turmeric, ginger, and frankincense.
Why it works
Neuropathy Comfort Balm is built around hemp seed oil — long valued for its deeply nourishing properties on tired, sensitive, hard-working skin. We've paired it with St John's Wort, a botanical with a centuries-long tradition of being applied to nerve-prone areas in traditional European herbal wellness. Turmeric and ginger bring a gentle warming character. Boswellia (frankincense) is one of the oldest known botanicals for skincare. Together they create a soft, daily-use balm that absorbs cleanly without the intense menthol punch of our stronger Neuropy Max Balm.
This is the everyday partner to Neuropy Max — many of our long-term customers use Neuropy Max in the evening for an intense, cooling routine, and reach for Neuropathy Comfort Balm during the day for gentler, all-day care. Suitable for use on feet, hands, fingers, toes, calves, ankles, legs, and joints. Lightweight, fast-absorbing, never greasy.
A favourite among customers with diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, post-chemotherapy nerve discomfort, sciatica, and the general everyday discomfort of nerve-prone skin. Loved by older customers caring for cold or tingling hands and feet, and by anyone who simply wants a softer alternative to a menthol-led balm.
Free from parabens, sulphates, and synthetic chemicals. Handcrafted in small batches in Essex by a UK family-owned brand crafting plant-based skincare since 2007.
How to use
Apply a generous amount to the area that needs attention — feet, hands, fingers, toes, calves, ankles, or anywhere skin feels uncomfortable. Massage in slow, gentle circular motions until fully absorbed. Use morning and evening for best results, or reapply through the day as often as you'd like.
Because this balm doesn't contain menthol, it's well-suited to daytime use — there's no strong cooling sensation under clothing, no intense scent during the working day, just a soft, comforting feel. Many customers pair it with our Neuropy Max Balm for an evening routine: comfort balm by day, Max balm by night.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between this and Neuropy Max Balm?
Both balms are designed for nerve-prone skin and have a lot in common — turmeric, hemp seed oil, plant-based base. The key difference is in intensity. Neuropy Max Balm is our concentrated, maximum-strength version, built around menthol, peppermint, and eucalyptus for an instant cooling sensation many customers find essential at the end of a hard day. Neuropathy Comfort Balm is the softer, hemp-led, daily-use partner — gentler scent, no strong cooling, suitable for under clothing during the day. A lot of our long-term customers use both: Comfort Balm by day, Max Balm by night. If you're new to the range and not sure which to start with, the Comfort Balm is a great gentle introduction.
Who is this neuropathy balm made for?
It's loved by a wide range of customers: people managing peripheral neuropathy, those with diabetic neuropathy or pre-diabetic nerve symptoms, customers going through or recovering from chemotherapy who are experiencing nerve discomfort, people with sciatica, anyone with daily tingling, burning, or prickling sensations in the feet, hands, or limbs, and older customers caring for cold or uncomfortable hands and feet. The gentle, hemp-led formula is particularly popular with customers who find menthol-based balms too intense, and with those wanting a daytime option that doesn't carry a strong cooling scent.
Is this suitable for diabetic neuropathy?
Many of our customers managing diabetic neuropathy use this balm as part of their daily foot and skin care routine, and the gentle, hemp-led formulation has been designed with sensitive, nerve-prone skin in mind. That said, diabetes affects skin, healing, and foot care in important ways, and the right routine looks different for everyone. We always recommend that customers with diabetes speak to their GP, diabetic nurse, or podiatrist before adding a new product to their daily routine — particularly if there's any concern about cuts, ulcers, or reduced sensation in the feet. Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before first use.
Can I use this during or after chemotherapy?
Many of our customers reach for this balm during and after chemotherapy when they're experiencing nerve discomfort in the hands and feet (often called chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, or CIPN). The gentle, low-scent formula is often preferred during active treatment when stronger fragrances can feel overwhelming. However, every cancer treatment journey is different, and your oncology team will have the best view on what's appropriate during and after treatment. Please check with your oncologist, specialist nurse, or pharmacist before introducing any new product — particularly during active treatment.
Is St John's Wort safe to use on the skin?
St John's Wort has a long tradition of topical use in European herbal wellness, particularly for nerve-prone areas — that's why it's a key botanical in this balm. The amount in the formula is at the level used for traditional skincare, and well-tolerated by most people. A small note: St John's Wort can occasionally increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight in some people. If you're applying it to areas exposed to strong sun, particularly in summer, we'd recommend using sunscreen on that area or covering it with clothing. If you're taking St John's Wort orally or any prescription medication, check with your GP or pharmacist before regular use of any topical St John's Wort product — it can interact with several medications including antidepressants, contraceptives, and blood thinners.
30g or 100g — which size should I get?
The 30g tin is a great starting size if you're new to the brand or trying it for the first time — used once or twice daily on both feet, it typically lasts around 4 to 6 weeks. The 100g tin offers significantly better value if you know you like it, lasting 3 to 4 months with regular daily use. A little goes a long way thanks to the rich, hemp-led formula. Many of our long-term customers keep a 30g handy for travel or work bags, and a 100g at home for the main routine.
