Lymphatic Massage Oil | For Drainage Massage, Gua Sha & Recovery
Description
A clean, lightweight massage oil designed for lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha, cupping, and everyday recovery routines. A favourite among customers practising self-massage, post-workout recovery, post-procedure care, and the slow daily rituals that make a real difference to how the body feels.
Why it works
Lymphatic Massage Oil is a plant-based blend designed for the kind of slow, intentional massage that the lymphatic system loves. The base is built from sunflower, coconut, and olive oils — light enough to glide cleanly across the skin, rich enough to keep it nourished through a long massage session.
Arnica is the headline botanical — long valued in traditional wellness for its association with massage of tired, hard-working areas of the body. We've paired it with grapefruit, geranium, cypress, sweet orange, and lavender essential oils, chosen because they bring a fresh, lifting aromatherapy character that suits the practice well.
It's a favourite for lymphatic drainage massage routines, Gua Sha and stone work, dry brushing follow-up, wood therapy sessions, cupping practice, post-workout recovery, and the post-procedure massage care many of our customers build into their routines after non-invasive treatments. Loved by anyone whose daily care includes paying attention to how the body moves.
Vegan, cruelty-free, and free from chemicals, parabens, and synthetic additives. Blended in small batches in Essex by a UK family-owned brand crafting plant-based skincare since 2007.
How to use
Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin and massage in slow, intentional strokes. For lymphatic massage, work in light, sweeping movements toward the natural lymph nodes (neck, armpits, groin). For Gua Sha or stone work, use enough oil to allow the tool to glide cleanly. For cupping or wood therapy, follow your usual practice or your therapist's guidance.
Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before first use. Use externally only. Avoid applying to open or broken skin. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this lymphatic massage oil made for?
Customers practising lymphatic drainage massage at home, anyone using Gua Sha or stone tools, people exploring cupping or wood therapy, those building post-workout recovery rituals, and anyone who's added daily self-massage to their routine. It's also popular with customers in the days and weeks after non-invasive treatments where their therapist has recommended gentle massage as part of recovery. The blend is gentle enough for sensitive skin, and the aromatherapy profile works as well in a quiet evening routine as it does in a more active recovery session.
How does lymphatic drainage massage actually work?
Lymphatic drainage massage is a slow, light, rhythmic technique designed around the body's natural lymph pathways. Unlike a deep tissue massage, it uses gentle, sweeping movements rather than pressure — typically directed toward the lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, and groin. Many people learn the basics from a qualified massage therapist or lymphatic drainage practitioner, then continue with simple routines at home. This oil is designed to support that kind of practice — clean, glide-friendly, and pleasant enough for a long session.
Can I use this for Gua Sha, cupping, or wood therapy?
Yes — these are some of the most common reasons our customers buy this oil. The light, fast-absorbing texture is well-suited to body work with tools: enough slip for the stone, cup, or wood roller to move cleanly, without leaving the skin overly oily afterwards. For face Gua Sha specifically, a small amount goes a very long way — start with a few drops and add as needed.
Can I use it after a non-invasive cosmetic procedure?
Many of our customers do exactly this — particularly after treatments where their therapist or surgeon has recommended gentle massage as part of the recovery routine. That said, every procedure is different, and timing matters. Always follow the specific guidance given by your therapist or surgeon, and never apply any product to broken skin, open wounds, or fresh surgical sites. If you're unsure, check with the professional who carried out your treatment before incorporating any new product into your recovery routine.
Will it leave my skin or clothes oily?
The blend is intentionally light — sunflower and coconut oils as the base, rather than the heavier oils some massage products use. It absorbs cleanly within a few minutes when massaged in properly. We do recommend giving it 10 minutes to soak in before getting dressed, particularly if you're wearing light-coloured clothing. Any minor marks come out in a normal wash.
How often should I use it?
Daily use is perfectly fine and very common — many of our customers make this part of an evening wind-down or morning recovery ritual. For more intensive lymphatic drainage practice, twice daily works well. A little goes a long way: a 100ml bottle typically lasts most customers 2 to 3 months with regular use. If you're new to self-massage, start with a short 5–10 minute routine and build up from there as you find what works for your body.
